  1. Which port will my order ship from if I place an order direct from one of your factories in China?

    Most orders ship from Shanghai Port, occasionally orders ship from Yangshan Port. Your customer service representative can work with you to determine shipping details specific to your account and orders.

  2. Do your products ship assembled or unassembled?

    The majority of the recliner mechanisms we offer are shipped unassembled. Shipping unassembled maximizes the use of container space, reducing the cost of shipping per unit. It also reduces the chance of damage occurring during transport. Power lift mechanisms are an exception due to their complexity. Special packaging is used for the assembled lifts. Sofa sleeper mechanisms are also shipped assembled.

  3. How long will it take to produce my order?

    The production time for an average order is about 3-4 weeks. However, production time varies greatly depending on the type and quantity of products ordered. Your customer service representative can provide additional details when quoting products or processing your order.

  4. What mode of transport will be used if I place a direct order from one of your China factories?

    The most typical method of transport is via 20 or 40 foot ocean container. Other forms of transport are possible and freight quotes can be provided upon request.

  5. Is there a minimum order quantity?

    The minimum order varies from product to product and is based on packaging and whether the order is factory direct or through a distributor.

  6. What if I want to use your Residential Sleepers (2300, 2500, 2700 series) in a hotel, condo, or other contract application?

    Since we do not recommend our Residential Sleepers for this application, it would void the warranty.

  7. What if I receive my order and there is a problem?

    Contact your customer service representative or agent immediately. We require notice of order errors, shipping damages or quality issues within three months of the arrival of your shipment. Timely notification will help our representative provide the best possible resolution to any problem.

  8. What marketing and promotional materials are available to help me promote furniture made using your products?

    We have a number of hang tags which are instructional, safety oriented, and promote the standards and quality of Leggett & Platt made components.
